What's 'Ask a Coldstreamer' ?
  (or do you want more info on joining the Coldstream Guards)

For the first time in over 350 years the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards (the oldest Regiment in Continuous Service in the British Army) will open our doors for a Coldstream Question Time.

‘Ask a Coldstreamer’ will allow any question of any subject to be submitted from the general public and put to key Regimental Personnel (Commanding Officer, Regimental Sergeant Major etc).

Questions can be received via paper submissions (by downloading the proforma below or picking one up at your local Recruiting Offices – then sent to us), or via this site and e-mail for anyone with internet access. Open to anyone and everyone, serving Coldstreamers, other Military Members, Past Members, family members and partners, Potential Coldstreamers, the general public … absolutely anyone!

      Fancy a career in the Coldstream Guards but got some queries or questions ………?

      Is your partner in the Coldstream Guards and have a question on what he does ………?

      Have you a family member in the Coldstream Guards and have a burning question ………?

The Committee

An elite band of Coldstreamers have been formed to answer any questions put to them. Between them, these Coldstreamers have over 100 years experience and can answer any questions from Discipline to History.

        2. All Questions need to be submitted by Friday 22nd August.
        3. Answers will be displayed on this site and Company Notice Boards in the first week of September.
        4. Abusive questions will not be tolerated and ShinyCapstar and the Coldstream Guards reserve the right to take necessary action
