Here is
just a little of the feedback we've received
over the last couple of years.
I have become a regular user of
the site in the last couple of months after many years
reading through the posts and archives. Now I am a
very active user of the forum and have made some great
'Shiny-friends'!
What a surprise after many
years to see Clive Fragg, Fatcat and Stotty cutting
about the parish out in Iraq .Seeing these dudes has
brought back some great memories of my time in the recce
pltn. This website is an excellent idea I only wish i
knew about it sooner. Have lost contact with many of the
guys due to now living on the island of Rarotonga in the
COOK ISLANDS south pacific.....24721199 MJ TATAM.....alias..George.
There is no way this site should face closure, this site
is (Second to None) having served in two other units
since
leaving the regiment i can say this is the best site on
the net. Not forgetting all the hard work put in by
Admin

Hi - As an ex Coldstreamer i feel
it is important to keep the web site going, it is good
to see that the old traditions are still being carried
out and the regiment is still second to none, keeping up
to date about recent campaigns is also important as you
do not always hear about the regiment through the media.

My son
bought me a computer and I tapped in 'Coldstream Guards'
and found Shiny. That was a month ago and since
then I have met so many new friends and got in touch
with someone I lost contact with many many years ago
.............
. . . . .can't say enough about the
ShinyCapstar in my life, although I'm always hogging the
PC now!
.... it surely is a breath of
fresh air to see what the boys get up to .....
Tell me, why do the
Coldstream Guards do things so good ...........
I joined the Coldstream Guards
because of ShinyCapstar, I found it looking for the Army!
. . . . . the forum is so
friendly and even though I'm not a Coldstream Guard I feel
so much at home.
It would be A CRIME to loose such a
fine site ......

I was a little dubious of the PC thing at first but love it
now, thanks to your site .......
Please don't go anywhere - I
left the Battalion a while ago but using this site is
like being back again!

What a fantastic
picture you paint of the Coldstream Guards, is it really

How can you provide this excellent service 'Free' where
others still want a 'membership donation' . . .
