Major Generals Inspection

The Battalion were recently inspected by the Major General Commanding the Household Division

Message to the Commanding Officer, from the Major General

Thank you for an excellent day on Tuesday, and congratulations to all ranks on the high standards achieved in an excellent inspection. I was impressed by both turnout and drill which attest to the success of your enthusiastic approach to Public Duties: the Battalion is definitely "fit for role"!

I note your detailed points about drummers' lacing, and contact lenses, and will investigate and take action as appropriate. I much enjoyed the opportunity to speak to the whole Battalion.
