The 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards deployed
for just over six months to IRAQ
on Op Telic 6,returning at the beginning of November 05. The
reason that the tour is 'just over' six months is because of
acclimatisation which the Battalion must go through as soon as
they arrive. Things got off to a good start as most were
delayed at South Serney for about 8hrs before departing from
Brize Norton.

' ........................why not try the e-bluey
facility?'
Why not try the e-bluey facility to send a letter
out to someone in IRAQ, you will need the correct
service details and it's much quicker than normal
post - it takes approx 2-3 (working) days for an e-bluey
to be delivered on a 'good day'. A link for
the e-bluey facility is shown 'top right' of this
page.
