Farewell to WO1 (RSM) & Mrs KR Cheesbrough.


The Christmas Ball this year was a joint function, the first half saw a Regimental Dinner saying farewell to the Regimental Sergeant Major.  The second half then saw the annual celebration of the Xmas Draw.

This page will concentrate on the Regimental Dinner, which was held to say farewell to the Regimental Sergeant Major.

Before we start though, a few images were shown throughout the dinner of the Sarn't Major - so it's only right that we put them on here for ALL TO SEE!

Around 250 people attended the function - which was served to all by a strong bunch of merry men, kindly giving up their Saturday night to wait on the Sergeants Mess (not - but they did get paid for the evening!).

The menu was a traditional Christmas menu - with a Pate Starter (followed by Sorbet).  The chefs should be congratulated for their excellent effort, the food was amazing!

On the table was red and white wine, which was customised with personal wine labels, designed for this Regimental Dinner, (shown below)
