The annual tradition of the clash of the messes took place on Tuesday 16th December 2003.

It was a very cold and icy day, and the referee LSgt "Barry" Doudican nearly called the match off, until he realised that there had been much training completed by both sides for this match and didn't want to disappoint. Others believed that if the match was called off then the teams would have to take part in a CFT being planned for everyone else......not sure what I believe really.

The match was won by the Sergeants' Mess with a final score of 3 - 2.
