ShinyCapstar YouTube Account!

Obviously, without not trying to be
outdone with all the technological advances, ShinyCapstar has
it's own 'YouTube' account for any Coldstream Videos that have
been created. If you haven't already seen the Regimental
Recruiting DVD you can watch it online on our 'YouTube' account
(it's brilliant!), all this plus clips from recent events and
functions, plus loads more to come! (you can also subscribe to the YouTube
account to be told when new videos are added) - the videos on
the YouTube Account have had over 10,000 views since Oct 06,
that is outstanding so more videos will be added on a regular
basis.
At the time of going to press, the ShinyCapstar
Channel has the following videos, with more to come:
The Regimental Recruiting Video.
The Coldstream Guards Op Telic Fun Run.
I'm a Coldstreamer's Wife, Get me out of Here
weekend.
Videos from the last Regimental Association Day.
A recent news video from Exercise African Thorn.
Plus lots more on the site and more due to be added!
If you have a video that you'd like to appear on our
channel, send it to us and we'll see if it's suitable to
hold pride and place on 'THE' Coldstream Video Channel!

The course is run to train
drummers, flute players and buglers of the Infantry. Each course
is 18 weeks long and consists of music theory lessons, practical
music lessons and infantry skills such as first aid, weapon
handling, ranges and physical fitness keeping the course varied
and interesting.
During the first 6 weeks of the course the instructors will
lead, teach and train individuals to Class 3 standard of musical
ability. The next 12 weeks are taken up with instruction to
Class 2 standard. At the end of the course the instructors will
lead the trainees through the passing out parade, carrying out
the same tasks as the trainees on parade, in effect doing the
job they would be doing in their own Corps of Drums.
